this letter, the vice-chancellorship of the Highest Moscow State Conservatory
Tchaikovsky (the principal establishment for music education of Russian
Federation) assuresthat Miss Elena Gantchikova obtained in 1998 a diploma
with distinction in musical composition, piano, conducting, and in music
theory and education.
This
diploma, awarded by the Conservatory, attests to her complete professional
competence and brilliant accomplishment in instrumental interpretation.
This diploma
gives its recipients the right to teach all the musical
disciplines which are practised in specialized establishments of the
highest level of education.

It also
gives its recipients the right to practice as solo concert performers
and in chamber music ensembles; to direct orchestras; and to compose
music.
Many famous
musicians appear among the laureates of the Conservatory, including
Serge Rachmaninov, Alexander Skryabin, David Oïstrakh, Sviatoslav
Richter, Mstislav Rostropovich, Alfred Schnittke, Sofia Goubaïdoulina,
Arvo Pärt, Edison Denisov, Oleg Kagan, Eugenie Svetlanov, Vladimir
Spivakov, Youri Baschmet and many others...
Since
the end of her studies, Elena Gantchikova has composed her own musical
compositions and has performed musicological research. She has been
a professor of music and is concert piano performer. She has a great
theoretical and practical range as well as a vast classical and contemporary
repertory.
